Professor Dr Liang Te Shan is a surgeon at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. He is a specialist in tumour surgery, joint replacement and adult reconstruction.

Dr Liang Te Shan was the orthopaedic surgeon who assisted in relief efforts in Sri Lanka following the 2004 Indonesian tsunami and in Yogyakarta following the 2006 Indonesian earthquake.

Dr Liang Te Shan completed his undergraduate studies at the National University of Singapore in 1982. After completing his MPH course, he worked at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Alexandra Hospital and Singapore General Hospital.

Dr Liang received a fellowship grant to undertake his fellowship training in oncology and reconstructive surgery at the University of Florida, and was also attached to the University of Maryland for his fellowship training in limb lengthening and correction of limb deformities.
