Biodata
- Dr Jarrod Lee earned his medical Qualification from the National University of Singapore in 1998 and was board certified in gastroenterology in 2009. In 2010, he was appointed Clinical Lead and Chairman of Endoscopy at the newly opened Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, where he developed the Division of Gastroenterology and the Endoscopy Centre before resigning in 2013 to pursue private practice. He started gutCARE, Singapore’s first gastroenterology group practice, in 2014, with the goal of providing subspecialist knowledge in digestive illnesses.
- Dr Jarrod Lee is a well-known endoscopist in the region. He is the only physician from Southeast Asia to have received a Crystal Award for endoscopic excellence. In 2011, he defeated over 100 of the world’s greatest endoscopists to receive the prestigious ASGE AV Award, an international honor that serves as the global reference standard. He is particularly interested in incorporating advanced imaging and innovative techniques into endoscopy and routine practice, as well as in screening for and prevention of intestinal cancer.
