    Dr Chong Keen Wai graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine, a Bachelor of Surgery, and a Master of Medicine in orthopaedic surgery (NUS). He also earned membership and fellowship in orthopaedic surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Following that, he received a Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) fellowship in Germany to seek subExpert In training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, as well as trauma and reconstructive surgery.
    Dr Chong previously worked at the Singapore General Hospital as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon (SGH). He established the foot and ankle fellowship program there, which has been instrumental in training a large number of regional surgeons. He continues to serve as a visiting consultant at three of Singapore’s largest public hospitals, namely SGH, Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) (the country’s largest trauma center), and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH).
