Biodata
Dr Andrew Tsai serves as a Senior Consultant within the Surgical Retina Department at the Singapore National Eye Centre, concurrently holding the position of Clinical Assistant Professor in the SingHealth Duke-NUS Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences Academic Clinical Programme.
A 2008 graduate of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS), Dr Andrew Tsai earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Qualification. Subsequently, he completed his Master of Medicine in Ophthalmology in 2014 and achieved Fellowship status with the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in 2015.
Obtaining accreditation as a specialist in Ophthalmology in 2016, he also became a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, in the same year. Dr. Andrew Tsai further honed his expertise through advanced sub-expert training in Medical and Surgical Retina, successfully concluding the program in 2019.
Dedicated to an evidence-based and patient-centric approach, Dr. Tsai’s current clinical focus encompasses vitreoretinal surgery, medical retina, general cataract, and comprehensive ophthalmology.
