Dr Wong Wai Keong

Professor Wang Wai Keong is a general surgeon with a special interest in upper gastro-intestinal surgery, laparoscopic surgery and therapeutic endoscopy. In upper GI surgery, he specializes in stomach cancer and esophageal cancer as well as laparoscopic GI surgery.

Professor Wong graduated from the National University of Singapore Medical Faculty (MBBS) in 1984. He subsequently obtained a Fellowship in Surgery (FRCS) from the Royal College of Edinburgh, UK in 1990 and became a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine (FAMS). Singapore in 1996.

Professor Wong subsequently traveled to Japan, England, and Hong Kong to train in upper GI surgery and endoscopy.
