Education and Training: Sarah trained at the Westminster Hospital Medical School and worked for the Professors of Medicine and Surgery before leaving the Westminster Group to work at the London Chest Hospital doing Respiratory Medicine and the Royal London hospital where she did Cardiology. Her Rheumatological training was undertaken at Kings College Hospital where she became SpR there prior to obtaining her first Consultant job in Exeter. For family reasons Sarah relocated to Bedford where she was appointed to take over as a Singlehanded Rheumatologist.
Other Roles: Also runs the Dexa scanning service and has just been appointed the Lead Consultant for the new Fracture Liaison Service.
Research: Published over 35 papers in peer-reviewed journals. Main research has focussed on Nutrition and Vitamins, the Inflammatory mediator Leukotriene B4, and back pain. Recently hosted the Microbiome Day at the Royal Society of Medicine.
