Biography
Dr. Richard Chew In 1981, he was a visiting staff member at the University of Tokyo Hospital and in the Department of Surgery at the Japan Cancer Center, and before practicing in 1987, he practiced at the National University Hospital, Singapore. Dr. Chew, received his MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 1975 and a Master of Medicine in 1979. That same year, he became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and Glasgow. He has been a member of the Singapore Medical Academy since 1984.
Dr. Chew’s special needs are breast cancer, gastric and colon cancer, GI endoscopy, hernia surgery, laparoscopic surgery, especially all bladder diseases, and thyroid surgery.
