Dr Prof Gemmy Cheung currently holds the position of Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore. Additionally, she serves as the Head and Senior Consultant of the Medical Retina Department at the Singapore National Eye Centre and leads the Retina Research Group at the Singapore Eye Research Hospital (SERI).
With a focus on Age-related Macular Degeneration and Polypoidal Choroidal Vasculopathy, Dr Prof Gemmy Cheung has authored over 200 peer-reviewed articles. In her role as a Principal Investigator, she has spearheaded numerous clinical trials in anti-vascular endothelial growth factor therapies. Presently, she is overseeing two large research programs supported by the Singapore National Medical Research Council and Biomedical Research Council.
