Biography
That’s what Dr. said. PNG Keng Siang is a senior consulting urologist who has performed more than 800 robotic and laparoscopic procedures in his career. His field of expertise includes robotics and other minimally invasive operations. He specializes in prostate and kidney cancer as well as other conditions such as benign prostate enlargement and kidney stones.
Prior to the private practice, Drs. PNG is the director of the robotic urological surgery fellowship program at Tan Talk Seng Hospital, the director of the urology residency program of the National Healthcare Group, and an assistant professor at NUS Yong Lu Lin School of Medicine. Currently, they serve as JCST site accreditors for the urology residency program.

PNG completed Urology Specialist Training in Singapore and then took a Clinical Fellowship in Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine in the US. He was the first Singaporean urologist to receive a Fellow, American College of Surgeons (FACS) award. That’s what Dr. said. Png has trained many urologists in minimally invasive surgery, both locally and abroad. He conducted live demonstrations of the operation in Myanmar and Vietnam, conducted the first three robotic urological operations in Vietnamese history, and launched a robotic surgery program in Ho Chi Minh City. Aside from clinical work, Drs. Png is actively involved in many educational institutions. He is a founding member and vice president of the Robotic Surgery Society of Singapore. That’s what Dr. said. Png is the honorary secretary of the Singapore Urological Association, where he served on its executive committee for eight years. He is an international member of the American Urological Association and the Endocrinological Society and has served on the Education Committee of the Society of Urological Robotic Surgeons.
