Dr Mohiemen Anwar is an ENT surgeon who received his training in London. In 2007, he received his National Training Number in the North Thames Deanery. Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children, The Royal Marsden Hospital, The Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital, St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and The Royal London Hospital were among his training institutions.
In 2017, Dr Mohiemen Anwar received the Certificate of Completion of Training after being appointed as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2016. In 2017, he was hired to the Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust as a substantive consultant ENT surgeon. During his training, he developed an interest in rhinology, sinonasal diseases, and anterior skull base surgery, and he focused his last years on honing his talents in rhinology, facial plastics, and anterior skull base surgery.
During his final year of training/fellowship at the Royal London Hospital’s skull-base and advanced sinus surgery practice, he got invaluable EXPERIENCE YEARS in both open and endoscopic anterior skull base surgery. In 2017, he was hired as a consultant at the Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust in London. He mostly works for the NHS at West Middlesex University Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
Adult and paediatric ENT services are available through his NHS practice. Despite his primary interests in rhinology, allergy, nasal surgery, and endoscopic sinus surgery, he maintained a broad interest in all aspects of ENT surgery, including hearing loss, dizziness, tinnitus, voice disorders, throat discomfort, snoring, sleep disorders, neck lumps, and thyroid disorders. He has strived to improve the ENT practice at the Trust since his appointment, adding new technology and procedures to the department, including balloon sinoplasty and endoscopic ear surgery.
Dr Mohiemen Anwar’s also focusing on establishing a bone-anchored hearing aid program and a joint voice clinic at the Trust. Mr Anwar, who is married to an Arabic folk singer and has a three-year-old daughter, will give birth to his second kid in July 2018. He is an accomplished tennis player who has won numerous junior tennis awards for his club, school, and university.
