- Dr Lynette Charlene Low Meiyin is a Dermatologist who is accredited by the Ministry of Health. She graduated from Queen Mary’s University of London in 2005 and was also the Deanery’s Junior Doctor Representative to the Department of Health in the United Kingdom, where she finished her Internal Medicine training. Dr Low has international EXPERIENCE YEARS in patient care. She completed her training at London’s Ambrose King Centre and Bart’s Sexual Health Centre, as well as at Imperial College’s St Mary’s Hospital Dermatology Department, where she oversaw the Paediatric, Vulvar, and Skin cancer clinics. Additionally, she completed internships at the Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard Medical School, USA), St Vincent’s Hospital, and the Skin and Cancer Foundation in Boston (Melbourne, Australia). She most recently completed training at Singapore’s KK Women’s and Children’s Vulvar Clinic. After being elected to the Royal College of Physicians (London, UK) in 2009, Dr Lynette Charlene Low Meiyin returned to Singapore and finished her Advanced Specialist Training (2011–2014) at the National Skin Centre. In 2014, she was designated a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore (Dermatology). She is a Fellow of both the Singapore Dermatological Society and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.
- Prior to joining Raffles Hospital, she worked at the National Skin Centre and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital as a Dermatologist. She oversaw the Women’s and General Clinics at the Department of Sexually Transmitted Infection Control Clinic and was designated by the Ministry of Health as a Health Officer for Sexually Transmitted Infections. Dr Lynette Charlene Low Meiyin has published in a number of peer-reviewed scientific journals, including The Asian Skin Atlas, and has presented at a number of national and international conferences. Dr Jean Bolognia presented her with the best case report presentation at the Dermatology Update Conference in Singapore in 2013. She has also worked as a Faculty Lecturer, Examiner, and Clinical Tutor at the National University of Singapore’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. Her areas of expertise include men’s and women’s health (including acne, hair loss, and genital dermatology), sexual health, and aesthetics (scars, pigmentation and tattoo removal). She also practices general dermatology for adults and children, including eczema, mole checks, psoriasis, urticaria, and vitiligo.
