Biodata
- Dr Lee Yee Mun earned a bachelor’s Qualification from the National University of Singapore in 1992. After serving as an army medical officer for two years, he began surgical school, earning fellowships in the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, as well as a Master of Medicine (Surgery) in 1998. In 2003, he underwent additional specialised training in urology at Westmead and St Vincent’s Hospitals in New South Wales, Australia.
- Dr Lee Yee Mun is currently employed at Tan Tock Seng Hospital as a senior consultant urologist and director of endourology. He treats a broad spectrum of general urological diseases and has special interests in urinary stone disease, endourology, and advanced laparoscopic surgery. He is committed to enhancing the quality of medical care, eliminating disparities in healthcare, and advocating for patient safety. Dr Lee, who believes in the value of interdisciplinary collaboration, collaborates extensively with different clinical departments on a variety of projects, including surgical treatment of adrenal illness, laparoscopic management of peritoneal dialysis access, and shockwave treatment of pancreatic stones.
- In 2016, he received a Master of Public Health Qualification from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health on the Dean’s Scholarship and the NHG Clinician-Administrator Award. Dr Lee has served on numerous committees at the hospital, cluster, and ministry levels and is currently a member of the Complaints Committee of the Singapore Medical Council. He is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor and Principal Lead for Urology at Nanyang Technological University’s Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, and formerly served as program director for the National Healthcare Group’s Surgery-in-General and Urology Residency programs.
