Biodata
- Dr Ganesan Naidu earned his medical Qualification in 1990 from the National University of Singapore’s Faculty of Medicine. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1999, completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery in 2007, and was awarded the Royal College’s Fellowship in Orthopaedics and Traumatology. In December 2007, he was offered a scholarship to pursue his interest in orthopaedic trauma at the Unfallklinik in Mainz, Germany.
- Dr Ganesan Naidu previously worked at Tan Tock Seng Hospital as the Chief of Orthopaedic Trauma Service and Head of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery from 2011 to 2015. He is currently the Singapore Orthopaedic Association’s Honorary Secretary. He was an Adjunct Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and a regular lecturer at Nanyang Polytechnic’s School of Health Sciences. He is also a faculty member of AOTrauma Asia Pacific and the Tan Tock Seng Hospital’s Advanced Trauma Life Support and Definitive Surgery in Trauma Care courses. Dr Ganesan is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with extensive EXPERIENCE YEARS in orthopaedic trauma surgery. His specialized interests include fractures of the pelvis and acetabulum, limb reconstruction, and fractures near joints. He also does primary elbow, hip, and knee joint replacement surgery and has a special interest in arthroscopic sports surgery.
