Biodata

• Dr David Wong is an orthopaedic surgeon at Raffles Hospital and has been a visiting spine specialist at SGH and Dubai Hospital since 2005. Dr Wong earned his medical Qualification from NUS in 1985 and completed his fellowship training at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham, England in 1998. His surgical training includes broad exposure to the treatment of a variety of spine disorders, including scoliosis, spinal tumors and infection, spinal fractures, and degenerative neck and back pain issues. He is capable of doing thoracoscopic scoliosis surgery as well as artificial disc replacement surgery for persistent neck and low back discomfort. He is a percutaneous nucleoplasty, biacuplasty, vertebroplasty, and kyphoplasty specialist. He had led numerous workshops on these methods on a local and regional level. He is also a local faculty member for AO Spine and a member of the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association’s Spine Section.
