EXPERIENCE YEARS
- Dr Chong Weng Wah Roland graduated from the National University of Singapore with a medical Qualification in 2001 and was awarded the Yeo Khuan Joo Gold Medal in Surgery. He then graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Master of Medicine in Orthopaedic Surgery. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Orthopaedic Surgery and received the Gold Medal from the Singapore College of Surgeons in 2010.
Dr Chong previously worked at Changi General Hospital as a Consultant Orthopaedic, Shoulder and Elbow Surgeon. He offers solutions for arthroscopic shoulder surgery, irreparable rotator cuff tears, elbow and shoulder trauma, rheumatoid arthritis, and other degenerative conditions, including bipolar radial head replacements, total elbow and reverse shoulder replacements.
Additionally, he treats acromioclavicular joint inflammation, dislocations, fractures, bicep tendon injuries, golfer’s elbow, labrum injuries, pectoralis major injuries, superior labrum anterior posterior tears (SLAP), suprascapular nerve impingement, and tennis elbow. - Apart from science, Dr Chong Weng Wah Roland was an active participant in local and international medical Qualification. Currently, he serves as a reviewer for the Singapore Medical Journal.
