Biodata
- Dr Chong Jin Ho earned his MBBS from NUS in 2004 and his MRCPCH(UK) from the University of the United Kingdom in 2010. He completed his paediatric residency at KKH and was board certified in 2013 as a specialist in Paediatric Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Medicine (Singapore). He later earned a Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University in 2014 and a Master of Science in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University in 2016. He got the MOH HMDP award in 2015 and completed his specialized training at the Department of Paediatric Dermatology, National Centre for Rare Skin Disorders, Hôpital Pellégrin-Enfants in Bordeaux, France, under the supervision of Professor Alain Taeb.
- Dr Chong Jin Ho previously worked at KKH as a Consultant in the Department of General Paediatrics and the Dermatology Service. He served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, an Adjunct Instructor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine’s Department of Paediatrics, and a clinical instructor at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. In 2003, he was given the Jane Prize in Pediatrics. He received the CEO Patient Safety Award in 2011 and the Singhealth Quality Service Silver Award in 2015 for his achievements in patient care. He has also published several articles in international peer-reviewed journals, including a review in the Archives of Disease in Childhood on “Non-topical Management of Paediatric Recalcitrant Atopic Dermatitis.” He is an Asthma and Allergy Association member. Dr Chong has a strong interest in juvenile dermatology, which encompasses disorders such as atopic dermatitis (eczema), urticaria, and skin infections. Dr Chong is a strong believer in holistic child health management and is an advocate for a high quality of life.
