Dr Chan Choi Mun is a seasoned Senior Consultant at the Singapore National Eye Centre, where she has dedicated her expertise since the year 2000. Her practice encompasses a broad spectrum, from addressing common eye issues like cataracts to conducting intricate surgeries for patients grappling with various retinal disorders. This includes age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and maculopathy, central and branch retinal vein occlusions, and inherited retinal dystrophies.
Having earned her basic medical Qualification from the University of Sydney in 1998 with prestigious scholarships, Dr Chan Choi Mun furthered her Qualification by completing post-graduate training in Ophthalmology and obtaining a Masters of Medicine from the National University of Singapore in 2004. Her pursuit of excellence led her to achieve Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (Ophthalmology) from Edinburgh in 2007. Subsequently, she obtained Specialist Accreditation with the Ministry of Health in Singapore and was honored as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore (FAMS).
