Dr Ang Ai Leen

Dr Ang I Lin received his medical education at the National University of Singapore. After graduating in 2001, he continued his initial specialist training (Internal Medicine) from 2002-2005 and advanced specialist training (Hematology) from 2005-2008 in Singapore. He is currently a Senior Consultant in the Department of Hematology at Singapore General Hospital. Dr. Ang has subspecialty training in red cell disorders and transfusion medicine. He is the Head of the Red Cell Service in the Department of Hematology at the Singapore General Hospital.

Alongside his hospital appointment, Dr Ang is also the Group Director of the Blood Services Group at the Health Sciences Authority of Singapore. In this capacity, Dr. Ang oversees the blood transfusion program for the nation.
