Assoc Prof Lee Kheng Hock

A/Professor Lee obtained his medical degree in 1987 from the National University of Singapore. He holds a Masters’s Degree in Family Medicine (1993), a Diploma in Practical Dermatology (UK) and a Fellow of the Singapore College of Family Physicians (2000). ) A/Professor Lee has served continuously as a Council Member of the College of Family Physicians since 1993 and was the Censor-in-Chief (Chief Examiner) of the College of Family Physicians Singapore from 2005 to 2009. He is currently the Vice President. The college. He serves on various national-level committees that promote training and professionalism in Singapore. He is an examiner for the Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) examination and the chief examiner for the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine.

His areas of interest are health assessment, physician training, complexity science, and health services research. He is the Clerkship Director of the Family Medicine Clerkship and College Master of the School’s Sir Gordon Arthur Ransome Student Advisory College. A/Prof Lee is active in research promotion and was appointed Principal Investigator in the Family Medicine Research Network at the Singapore Clinical Research Institute.

Before returning to the public sector in 2006, A/Professor Lee worked for 10 years as a physician leader in a private group practice. Currently, he is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Family Medicine and Continuing Care at Singapore General Hospital and Deputy CEO (Education and Community Partnerships) at SingHealth Community Hospital. His clinical responsibilities include providing care to hospitalized patients and patients in our hospital’s specialist outpatient clinic.
