EXPERIENCE YEARS

• Dr Wong Yoke Hae Francis earned his medical Qualification from the National University of Singapore in 1982 and was admitted to the Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow) and the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 1987.
  Dr Wong was added to the Singapore Academy of Medicine’s Orthopaedic specialist registry in 1991.
  Dr Wong Yoke Hae Francis started his orthopaedic surgery training as a trainee at the University of Singapore’s Department of Orthopaedics. He began his career as a senior resident at the National University Hospital, Alexandra Hospital, and Tan Tock Seng Hospital before being named consultant at the Singapore General Hospital. He was awarded the prestigious HMDP fellowship and spent time at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London and Stanmore, as well as Adenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where he specialized in paediatric and adult reconstruction surgery.
• On his return to Singapore, he was responsible for the establishment of the SGH’s Paediatric Orthopaedic Service.
  In 1996, Dr Wong established a full-time private practice at Mt Elizabeth Hospital. He is particularly interested in the treatment of congenital hip and foot defects, as well as the co-management of children with special needs, such as cerebral palsy. Additionally, he has a particular interest in complete knee replacement surgery that is fully navigated.
