EXPERIENCE YEARS
- Dr Wong Poh Chen Petrina is a paediatrician at Singapore’s Gleneagles Hospital.
Her primary research interests are in pediatric respiratory illnesses and sleep disorders.
Dr Wong also offers paediatric respiratory services, including the diagnosis and treatment of lung infections, wheezing, and asthma, as well as paediatric sleep services, including the assessment and treatment of snoring, sleep apnoea, parasomnias, and behavioural sleep disorders. - Dr Wong Poh Chen Petrina has over 15 EXPERIENCE YEARS YEARS in a variety of paediatric specialties.
She completed her paediatric sleep medicine subExpert In training in 2013 at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in the United States.
She earned the European Respiratory Society’s European Diploma (pHERMES) and was also accredited as a polysomnologist in clinical sleep health by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
She completed her postgraduate training and gained EXPERIENCE YEARS at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) in the paediatric nursing, paediatric subspecialties, paediatric intensive care, children’s emergency, and neonatology departments.
Dr Wong was a consultant at KKH and served as the KKH service chief at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Sleep Centre prior to entering private practice.
Currently, she is a visiting consultant at KKH, where she directs the multidisciplinary neuromuscular clinic.
She has served on the faculties of Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Duke-NUS Medical School, and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine as an involved faculty member.
