  The Royal Free Hospital, London, 1989, and the UICC (ICRETT) Fellowship at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, University of Sydney, 1996.
  Dr. Singh has also taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels at Armed Forces Medical College.
• He received his medical Qualification at the Tata Memorial Hospitals in Mumbai and the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.
  In 1974, he was awarded the Mani Gold Medal for best efforts in rural health.
