Dr Tien Sim Leng

A/Prof Tien was trained in both clinical and laboratory hematology including transfusion medicine. After graduating with an MBBS and Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) from the National University of Singapore, he received a Fellowship in Pathology (Hematology) from the Royal College of Australia and a Fellowship in Hematology from the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He is currently a Senior Consultant in the Department of Hematology and Director of the Hematology Laboratory and Head of the SGH Blood Bank and Cytogenetics in the Department of Clinical Pathology and Molecular Pathology at the Singapore General Hospital. He is also the Director of the SGH Haemophilia Centre, which is recognized as an International Haemophilia Training Center by the World Federation of Haemophilia.
