Dr. Tejinder Kataria is credited with establishing the Departments of Radiation Oncology at Artemis Heart Hospital and Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital, as well as the Division of Radiation Oncology at Medanta – The Medicity.
She demonstrated India’s first Infinity Linear Accelerator with Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) and the first Integrated Brachytherapy Unit in North India. She has also introduced whole body stereotactic radiotherapy (SBRT), Image Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), and 3-D Conformal Radiation to Medanta as the latest developments in stereotactic radiation treatment (3D CRT).
