Dr Tay Leslie is a cardiologist who works at Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital.

He specializes in interventional cardiology (the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease using minimally invasive catheter-based procedures) and has specialized in the care of patients with complex coronary artery disease (CAD). In sports cardiology and cardiovascular computed tomography (CT) imaging, he has particular interests.

A scholarship to train in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular CT has been awarded to Dr Tay at MonashHeart in Melbourne, Australia. In the treatment of patients with complex coronary lesions, he gained considerable EXPERIENCE YEARS , using the latest in adjunctive interventional techniques. He also attained Level 2 accreditation by the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, USA, in cardiovascular CT.

Dr Tay Leslie is a strong supporter of preventive cardiology and has a special interest in sports medicine. Since 2009, he has been a licensed clinical exercise expert approved by the American College of Sports Medicine.

Dr Tay Leslie was hired in 2012 as an interventional cardiologist consultant at Changi General Hospital and a visiting consultant at Singapore’s National Heart Centre. Dr Tay is a true believer in the advancement of clinical practice and has made many improvements in practice that have contributed to better patient safety and outcomes.

Dr. Tay is deeply interested in cardiovascular research and, in several clinical trials, is a member of the national steering committee and the principal investigator. He has published extensively in medical journals and is frequently invited to lecture at international conferences as a faculty member.

Dr Tay has a passion for teaching and is a key faculty member of the Senior Residency Program of SingHealth Cardiology and a senior clinical lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

Dr Tay Leslie is also a member of the teaching faculty of the Centre for Medical Ethics and Professionalism of the Singapore Medical Association and a member of the National Transplant Ethics Committee appointed by the Ministry of Health.
