Dr Tan Eng Kiat Kevin is a private practice consultant diabetologist and endocrinologist at the Mt Elizabeth Medical Centre. He is also a visiting specialist at the Singapore General Hospital’s Diabetes Centre. Dr Tan has a Qualification from the National University of Singapore and is a fellow of both the Edinburgh Royal College of Physicians and the Singapore Academy of Medicine.

At Mt Elizabeth Hospital, Dr Tan Eng Kiat Kevin helped organize and set up the Weight Loss Program. This program is directed by a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and takes an individualized and multi-pronged approach to weight control, nutritionist programs, exercise physiotherapists, and psychotherapists.

Dr Tan Eng Kiat Kevin is currently the Vice-President of the Singapore Diabetic Society and a life member of both the Society and the Singapore Endocrine and Metabolic Society. He leads the Qualification Sub-Committee of the Diabetic Society and has been at the helm of the World Diabetes Day Singapore Events Organizing Committee for the past 6 years. He is a keen diabetes educator and active on the lecture circuit, lecturing widely on diabetes, thyroid problems and other hormone issues to both specialist and public audiences locally and throughout the area. He is specialized in diabetes and pituitary-adrenal diseases and is interested in clinical diabetes studies.
