Dr Su Hsien Ching David specializes in orthopaedics at Gleneagles and Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Singapore. He is also specialized in sports medicine, foot and ankle deformity correction, and healthy lower limb trauma.

Dr Su Hsien Ching David was a consultant orthopaedic surgeon and the director of the Singapore General Hospital’s Foot and Ankle Surgery Department, prior to co-founding The Orthopaedic Centre in 2013. He completed his post-graduate medical Qualification in Singapore and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dr. Su has 15 years of public service. He was given a scholarship to live in Australia for three months under the guidance of Dr Mark Blackney. There he had the opportunity to treat a variety of people, including athletes in various sports and with different diseases of the lower extremities. He has consulted with foot and ankle surgeons around the world, gaining expertise in treating foot and ankle procedures in many different surgical settings.

Dr Su has been invited to lecture at many local, regional and international orthopaedic conferences and has been a lecturer at AO courses. He has been instrumental in educating doctors in foot and ankle surgery during their orthopaedic residency training. He was a postgraduate advisor/tutor at the Duke-NUS Medical School and an undergraduate advisor/tutor at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Dr Su had previously worked as President of the Singapore Orthopaedic Association.

Dr Su Hsien Ching David pioneered surgical procedures for ankle braceless surgery in Singapore. Having been a marathon runner and an Ironman triathlete, he knows the goals, desires, and aspirations of athletes. He mixed this personal involvement with philanthropic work in becoming self-funded and raising funds for the Handicaps Welfare Association at the Ironman Western Australia Triathlon in 2006.

Dr Su is married and has three children. He also regularly participates in church service. Dr. Parker is grateful and humbled to be in the role of assisting patients in their path towards recovery.
