Biodata
• Graduated with an MBChB from the University of Leicester in England and an MMed (Paediatrics) from NUS; Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Medicine and the American Academy of Paediatrics.
• Clinical and research fellow in Neonatal Nutrition (Canada and USA), 1997–1998; member of numerous health ministry committees, including the Sale of Infant Foods Ethics Committee Singapore (SIFECS) from 1998 to 2006; the Association for Breastfeeding Advocacy (Singapore) (ABAS) (previously SBPC) from 1998 to 2006; and the Pharmacovigilance Unit from 2000 to 2016.
• Dr Steven Ng has over 40 peer-reviewed publications to his credit, including books, handbooks, and recommendations, and is a contributing author/member of the World Perinatal Nutrition Working Group (Paris, 2004).
