Biodata
- He is a dynamic and ambitious visionary. After receiving his M.B.B.S. (1973) and M.S. (General Surgery)(1980) from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, he moved to Delhi in 1980 to enroll in the Neuro-Surgery program at the prestigious All India Hospital of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. In 1983, he began his career after completing his subspecialization at the Department of Neurosurgery at the All India Hospital of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. Since then, he has been a neurosurgeon who excels in his field.
- His contributions to medicine and society have been acknowledged on numerous occasions. In his more than 30 years as a neurosurgeon, he has received numerous awards, including the PRIDE OF INDIA-GOLD Award in 1992, the INDIRA GANDHI PRIYADARSHINI award in 1992, and the RAJIV GANDHI EXCELLENCE Award in 1991, to mention a few. His community service has been recognized with numerous accolades, including the Jain Gaurav Award in 1991 and 1999, the utkrast Samaj Sevi Award, and the Samaj Seva Pratibha Samman, among others. He has presented more than two hundred seminars, chaired a number of conferences, and participated in and attended more than a dozen workshops and conferences. He is also the Director and Advisor of a number of NGOs that provide social services, including Mahavir International, Siddhomal Charitable Trust, Kund Kund Bharati Trust, and Om Kothari Foundation and Trust.
- In 2002, he realized the breadth and potential of the Radiology and Nuclear medicine field. He affiliated himself with a few institutions in Delhi, and the rest, as they say, is history; there was no turning back. Under his eminent leadership, a number of diagnostic centers in and around New Delhi, both operational and fledgling, have been recognized as preeminent institutions in this region.
