In the year 2019, DR SNEHA SHAH joined Lilavati Hospital. She is a board-certified ophthalmic plastic surgeon with over ten years of expertise (as of 2019) Before returning to India, she worked as a Consultant and Head, Oculoplastics, at Yeovil District Hospital NHS Trust in the United Kingdom. Prof. Richard Collins, Prof. Geoffery Rose, and Mr. Daniel Ezra were among the stalwarts she worked with during her fellowship at the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. In the United States, she trained with Drs. Tanuj Nakra and Jeffery Nerad in facial aesthetics and periocular rejuvenation.
Her interest in Oculoplastics drew her to the LV Prasad Eye Hospital in Hyderabad after she completed her postgraduate training in ophthalmology. She was extremely closely linked with the National Retinoblastoma Registry, which was run by the ICMR. Sneha worked with Dr. Santosh Honavar at the Centre for Sight in Hyderabad, getting further expertise and honing her talents in this field.
