Work EXPERIENCE YEARS
- After graduating from Governement Medical College Hospital which had 1500 inpatient bed facilities, I joined Sri Ramachandra University Hospital as an assistant professor. I had the privilege of working with great surgeons who helped me to shape up career in my initial days. We performed the entire spectrum of cardiac surgery from neonates to octogenarians. Our paediatric cardiac surgery work included Intra cardiac repair , Fontan and Arterial switch procedure. We were an active centre for Paediatric ECMO. We have performed Minimally invasive procedures for ASD , Valve diseases and CABG. I was part of the Heart transplant team.

- Dr Siva Muthukumarr is a Cardiac Surgeon with over 23 years of expertise.
He is a member of the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons, the Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons, the Indian Association of Surgeons, and the Indian Vascular Society.
He is also a National Board of Examinations examiner. - Dr Siva Muthukumar is a board-certified cardiac surgeon who specializes in bypass surgery, ECMO, cardioversion, aortic valve and aorta surgery, aldosterone inhibitors, blood vessel dilators, left ventricular assist device, heart valve surgery, infarct exclusion surgery, coronary artery bypass graft, minimally invasive coronary artery surgery, thoracic surgery, and keyhole angioplasty.
- He has collaborated on a number of research publications published in medical journals.
