Biodata
- Dr Siow Jin Keat’s areas of expertise include rhinology, image-guided sinus surgery, and anterior skull base surgery.
- In July 1989, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and in May 1993, he was elected a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore.
- In June 2006, the Dean and Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore accepted his Doctorate of Medicine Thesis (A Study of Asian Paranasal Sinus Anatomy Using Tri-Planar Projections on Computed Tomography Scans).
- He has served as a faculty member for endoscopic sinus surgery courses at the University of Marburg, Germany, the University of Nairobi, Kenya, Sun Yat Sun University in Guangzhou, China, the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, the International Islamic University Malaysia, the Hirslandaen Clinic in Zurich, the Veteran’s General Hospital in Taipei, and the University of Indonesia. He is a member of the European Archives of ORL H&N Surgery’s Editorial Board. He chaired the Clinical Practice Guideline Workgroup for Rhinosinusitis and Allergic Rhinitis 2010 of the Singapore Ministry of Health.
