Dr. Sarbjit Singh is acclaimed for his surgical expertise and advancement in orthopaedics especially in advanced techniques for limb reconstruction and deformity correction in pediatric patients and adults .

Dr. Sarbjit graduated from medical school in 1987. As a result of an outstanding career EXPERIENCE YEARS , the author was eventually awarded a clinical fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedics and Limb Reconstruction at this world renowned Hospital for Disabled Children. After returning from college, he also received further training in Joint Replacement and Orthopaedic Surgery at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Dr Singh Sarbjit has been invited to present and publish at the American Orthopaedic Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has held a variety of courses and seminars related to medical specialties including Joint Replacement Surgery, Limb Deformity Correction, and Paediatric Orthopaedics.

Dr Singh Sarbjit is a Senior Consultant and Director at the Department of Plastic Surgery at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He was also an invited guest lecturer at the Spastic Children’s Centre, National University Hospital, the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and the National University of Singapore Faculty of Medicine.

Dr Singh Sarbjit has comprehensive and in-depth expertise in hip and knee replacement surgeries, machine navigation hip and knee replacement surgeries, smartphone bearing hip and knee replacement surgeries, bi-compartmental replacement surgeries, and hip resurfacing surgeries. Dr. Ray specializes in revision hip and knee operations.

In his Expert In of pediatric orthopaedics, he has focused on the diagnosis and treatment of congenital hip and knee defects, limb deformities, clubfeet, pediatric tumor and children trauma. He is a global pioneer in osseointegration technology and limb lengthening. Dr. Sarbjit was one of the founders. He is a recipient of various awards for advancing the field of limb lengthening and has published extensively about the subject. Dr. Smith has considerable EXPERIENCE YEARS with the use of external frame, lengthening over nails and intramedullary screw techniques. It is important to remember groundbreaking work in lengthening the internal limbs. He was the first to implant Fitbone and ISKD in 2001 and 2006, respectively.

Dr Singh Sarbjit is involved in development of artificial limbs. Along with Johnson & Johnson Medical, he was interested in the design of a mobile bearing knee prosthesis and a multicentre trial on the design and evaluation of this product. As an assistant professor of SIM University, he was also given an adjunct professor position to the SIM University science and technology department from 2007-2010.

Dr Sarbjit Singh has published several papers in local and international magazines and journals and has been published in various books. He has made important contributions to basic science research and has received awards such as a Tan Tock Seng Hospital Annual Scientific Meeting Young Investigator and Best Paper. Despite working long hours, Dr Sarbjit continues to contribute to community work.

Dr Singh Sarbjit is an influential donor to the Spastic Club, the North-East Neighborhood Chest, and the Singapore Leisure Club. He has won many awards and commendations from various national bodies for his contributions to the less fortunate and for community service. He continues to be passionate about sports and is an active member of the Singapore Recreational Sports Association. He is also a member of the Food and Beverage’s committee and is also the Chairman of the committee.
