Professional Statement

In 1994, Dr Sidharth Sahni graduated from The Maulana Azad Medical College in Delhi with a Qualification in medicine. In 2000, he graduated with a Qualification in surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. He then proceeded to the European Hospital of Oncology (IEO) in Milan, where he trained under Prof. Umberto Veronesi, in order to earn his certification in breast surgery specialist training (2005-2006). Dr. Sahni is a certified tutor at Edinburgh’s Royal College of Surgeons. He is the breast surgeon for the American Embassy in New Delhi, as well as the Russian Embassy, Israeli Embassy, Italian Embassy, and Australian High Commission. Currently, he holds the position of Senior Consultant Breast Surgeon at Fortis Vasant Kunj New Delhi and Fortis Hospital in Defence Colony. Having participated in numerous international trials, Dr Sahni is frequently invited to lecture at national and international scientific conferences. He has written a number of influential papers on breast diseases. Dr Sahni was recently appointed to the board of directors of the European and Asian Society for Mastology (EURAMA), where he holds the position of President of the South East Asia Region on the Governing Council.
