Dr Shweta S Agarwal, D.O., a gold medalist from Pune University, completed her cornea fellowship at Sankara Nethralaya Chennai in 2006 and is now an Associate Consultant- Cornea.
Pune University bestowed upon her the Dr.D.S.Sardesai ophthalmology prize. She has a few publications in national and foreign journals, as well as a chapter on dry eyes in a postgraduate ophthalmology textbook. She has given presentations at a number of national conferences and was named the BEST CORNEA FREE PAPER..AIOC 2012. “TOOTH FOR VISION: 8 YEARS OF MOOKP EXPERIENCE YEARS IN SN.”
Her research focuses on corneal diseases, ocular surface disorders, stem cells, and keratoprosthesis.
Aside from ophthalmology, she is a professional dancer who enjoys living life to the fullest.
