Professional Statement

Dr Shobha was a pupil of the late, legendary physician and medical educator Dr K Ramamoorthy. She received her M.D. in internal medicine from the Bombay Hospital Hospital of Medical Sciences and her D.N.B. in internal medicine from the National Board in Delhi. She has held the position of Assistant Professor at St. George Hospital (Sir JJ Group Hospital), Seth G.S. Medical College, and KEM Hospital Mumbai. She is an undergraduate and postgraduate M.D. instructor approved by MUHS. Dr Shobha has served as the Joint Secretary of the Journal of Association of Physicians of India (JAPI) for the past six years and is presently a member of the journal’s Editorial Board. Former member of the Institutional Ethics Committees of Seth GSMC and KEM Hospital. She has authored numerous national and international publications and presented at national and regional conferences.
