Biodata
- Dr Shamini Nair graduated from the National University of Singapore with a medical Qualification. She earned a Master’s Qualification from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in the United Kingdom. She was elected a Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Medicine and the Singapore College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. Dr Shamini previously worked at KK Hospital as a Consultant in the Department of General Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- In 2005, she was presented with a ten-year service award from KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital. From 2004 to 2008, Dr Shamini served on the Executive Council of the Obstetrical and Gynecological Society of Singapore (OGSS). Dr Shamini has been an engaged educator. She was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS School of Medicine and a Clinical Lecturer at the National University of Singapore’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Dr Shamini was a 2005 recipient of the Service from the Heart Exemplary Award, the 2006 recipient of the Excellent Service Silver Award, the 2008 recipient of the Excellent Service Gold Award, and the 2009 recipient of the Excellent Service Star Award.
