The Dr Setiobudi Tony at the Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. He specializes in treating back pain, such as lower back pain, scoliosis, slipped disk, scoliosis, sciatica, spinal stenosis, and ankylosing spondylitis . (inflammation of spinal joints). He is specialized in minimally invasive spinal surgery, including such procedures as scoliosis reversal, correction of a hunchback and spine tumor surgery

Dr Setiobudi Tony completed his B.M., B.S. and finished medical school at Flinders University. After completing his postgraduate training in orthopaedics, he underwent more professional training in that Expert In and became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK.

Dr Setiobudi Tony received an award for further training in spine surgery from the Ministries of Health and Qualification, Singapore. During his spine fellowship abroad, he was mentored by a group of renowned spine surgeons including Dr Robert Labrum, Dr Geoff Askin, Dr Matthew Scott-Young, and Dr Richard Williams. Dr. Tony taught medical students at the University of Queensland as a lecturer.

Dr Setiobudi Tony served as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and was once a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACSS). The medical consultant remains a consultant at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital as of 2009. He has EXPERIENCE YEARS operating at the National University Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore General Hospital and the National University Hospital – Tan Tock Seng. He is teaching clinical at a university in Singapore . (NUS).

Dr Setiobudi Tony has done extensive research and published several works in international journals. His main area of study is the spinal cancers, disc degeneration and osteoporosis in the elderly. He has spoken at medical and public conferences about spine health, and has been invited to do so.
