Biodata
- Coming from a non-medical household, it was always an inspiration and a goal to become a doctor, skilled and driven to reach out to the common people in a way that was possibly not feasible in any other career. Dr. Sanchayan Roy completed his undergraduate studies at Bangalore’s St. John’s Medical College. Two years after receiving his M.B.B.S., he worked in a rural hospital in Tamil Nadu. St. Martha’s Hospital, Bangalore, granted him a D.N.B. in General Medicine.
- During his postgraduate studies, he worked at the famed NIMHANS (Neurology and Psychiatry) in Bangalore and the Jaydeva Hospital of Cardiology. After obtaining his D.N.B., he worked for about five and a half years in Critical Care Medicine at Wockhardt Hospital in Bangalore. During this period, he also received training in respiratory medicine from Dr. Ravi Mehta (Interventional Pulmonologist). Afterward, he arrived in Delhi and began working in the Critical Care Medicine Department at Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj. After gaining valuable expertise, he served as a consultant and Intensivist in charge of the ICU at Nova Orthopaedic And Spine Clinic in Nehru Enclave. Today, Dr. Sanchayan Roy is a Consultant in Critical Care Medicine at the Fortis Escorts Heart Center. It has been a wonderful voyage through the eons, amassing a wealth of EXPERIENCE YEARS, and expertise in order to attain the current state.
- He has a keen interest in and extensive EXPERIENCE YEARS with comprehensive geriatric care and management of respiratory, cardiac, diabetic, and other related conditions. In addition, he has an interest in and EXPERIENCE YEARS in Neurology and gastrointestinal illnesses. He has over nine years of cumulative EXPERIENCE YEARS in Critical Care Medicine (ICU care and related illness).
