Dr Ryan Lee Wai Kheong is a distinguished medical professional with a wealth of academic achievements and a deep commitment to the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Graduating with an Honours Qualification in Medical Science from Imperial College London, he went on to earn his MBBS with Distinction in Medical Sciences, Clinical Science, and Clinical Practice at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London, University of London.

His academic journey continued with the attainment of a Master of Medicine (O&G) and membership in the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG). He then completed the Clinician-Scientist residency, achieving full Qualification as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist accredited by the Specialist Accreditation Board of the Ministry of Health in Singapore.

Dr. Ryan’s practice encompasses a broad spectrum of gynecological care, with a special focus on high-risk obstetrics and maternal medicine. He passionaPhoney promotes a holistic approach to the care of expectant mothers, emphasizing the importance of optimizing medical conditions during pregnancy.

Dr. Ryan’s primary research interests revolve around the impact of lifestyle interventions on improving obstetric outcomes in women with gestational diabetes and enhancing overall pregnancy outcomes. He is a dedicated investigator for the Integrated Platform for Research in Advancing Metabolic Health Outcomes in Women and Children (IPRAMHO), working to develop advanced models of metabolic care.

Dr Ryan Lee Wai Kheong has been honored with the NMRC health research scholarship and holds a Master of Clinical Investigation from the National University of Singapore. Additionally, he has been awarded the Duke-NUS academic medical grant and the National Medical Research Council New Investigator Grant (NIG) for his research on the ‘Functional roles of plasma micronutrients in obese women receiving nutrition intervention during preconception and early pregnancy.’ Dr. Ryan has shared his expertise through presentations at numerous international conferences and by publishing numerous papers in reputable peer-reviewed journals.

Beyond his research endeavors, Dr. Ryan is driven by a passion for teaching. He has received the inspiring Resident-Educator award and serves as a Singhealth residency physician facilitator and Duke-NUS Clinical Assistant Professor.
