Biodata

Dr. Raymond Quah is a radiologist with a special interest in Body MRI imaging. He was previously with Ng Teng Fong General Hospital from 2011 to 2017, where he was one of the pioneer radiologists involved in setting up the radiological department for the new hospital.

Dr. Quah graduated from the National University of Singapore with an MBBS degree.  He was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists as well as the Masters of Medicine in Radiology in 2009. After specialist certification, Dr. Quah attended a visiting fellowship at the Maastricht University Medical Center under Professor RGH Beets-Tan, who leads a research group renowned for their cutting-edge work in oncological imaging, particularly of colorectal carcinoma. Dr. Quah is currently a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore and serves on the Executive Council of the College of Radiologists Singapore. He has also been invited to lecture at conferences on topics including MRI staging of rectal cancer post-neo-adjuvant therapy and the radiological role in screening of liver cancer. Dr. Quah’s belief is that each patient is different and hence every scan must be carefully protocoled and interpreted with careful consideration of the specific characteristics of that individual patient. As such, he derives job satisfaction when an imaging scan is able to accurately diagnose a patient’s problem and enable timely intervention and therapy to cure the patient. She speaks English, Mandarin, Hokkien, and Japanese. She is also a certified TCM dietician.
