Dr Ramkinkar Jha graduated from Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College with a gold medal and the title of Best Outgoing Graduate, 1996 Batch. He received his postgraduate Qualification in orthopaedics from New Delhi’s prestigious All India Hospital of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). He completed his Senior Residency (Registrarship) at AIIMS, New Delhi, after completing his MS (Orthopaedics).
He has received training from world-renowned orthopaedic surgeons in Australia, Thailand, and Hong Kong, as well as in India (Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, CMC Vellore, and BombayHospital, Mumbai). He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow) and a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Associated) (Edinburg). He is a member of many other Orthopaedic organisations and societies, and he has papers published in reputable scientific journals.
He also works to educate the general public about common orthopaedic conditions, geriatric bone and joint issues, and the importance of maintaining road safety to prevent accidents.
