Biography
Dr Rajendra is a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon. She subspecializes in Spine Disorders and Surgery. Her special interests include Cranio-Cervical junction disorder, Cervical Spondylosis treatment, Cervical Disc Replacement, and Spine Tumor surgery. Dr Rajendra graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1997. He completed his training in neurosurgery in the UK in 2006, having spent over 2 years of specialty training at London Hospitals. This includes experience at St George’s Hospital, King’s College Hospital, and the National Hospital for Neurology, Neurosurgery in Queen’s Square. Her previous appointments include the Director of Spine Neurosurgery at the National Neuroscience Institute, Singapore General Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. He also manages pediatric spinal diseases and dysraphism such as spinal lipomas / myelomeningocele. He pioneered new minimally invasive spine surgery techniques for improved patient care and outcome. He was invited to teach neuro and orthopedic spine surgeons about the treatment of spinal diseases in Europe, Asia, and Singapore. Dr Raj is also an east-Asia AO Spine faculty delegate.
Among the special interests of Dr. Raj is cervical disc replacement, treatment of cervical spondylosis, craniocervical junction diseases, and spinal tumor surgery.
