After completing his undergraduate medical Qualification at Grant Medical College, JJ Group of Hospitals under the auspices of the University of Mumbai and he pursued an MS in Orthopedics at the Bombay Hospital Hospital of Medical Sciences, Mumbai. He is also an Orthopedics Diplomat of the National Board, of New Delhi. Since 2001, his interest in Spine surgery has inspired him to pursue it as a subexpert. Multiple fellowships for advanced spine training were completed at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Hospital (Oswestry), University Hospital (Cardiff), and Stanmore in the United Kingdom, as well as the Advanced Trauma Center in Leipzig, Germany. He also worked in The NUH, Singapore’s Spine Department. In 2005, he was awarded the Global dissemination fellowship at the Scoliosis Research Society meeting held in Miami, United States. He has served as faculty at some regional and national Spine conferences. He has performed approximately a thousand spine interventions for a variety of causes, such as Degenerative Spinal Disorders, Adult and Pediatric (scoliosis and kyphosis) Spinal deformities, Spinal Infections, and Tumors.
