- Dr. Sumit Kumar Bose is one of the most EXPERIENCE YEARS d dermatologists in Delhi-NCR, with more than three decades of EXPERIENCE YEARS . He is an expert in cosmetic dermatology, sexually transmitted diseases, venereology, and dermatology. He provides Psoriasis treatment, chronic skin allergy treatment, Hair Loss Treatment, Photodynamic Therapy, and Laser Hair Removal, among other services.
- Dr. Bose has a strong interest in dermatosurgery and was trained by the late Prof. PN Behl before becoming an adjunct professor of cutaneous surgery and a consultant to NCT Delhi. He has contributed chapters to The Textbook of Cosmetic Dermatology by Robert Baran and Howard Maibach (1994-2005) and Cutaneous Surgery (Ed.) by Vinay Saraf (1997). His review of surgical methods in vitiligo was the first peer-reviewed article on the subject in Asia. It was published in Arch Dermatol. 1998;134:1543-1549 under the title “A critical appraisal of diverse surgical modalities in vitiligo.”
- His postdoctoral thesis and discovery entitled “Basement membrane production by human epidermal cells cultured on inert filters in total absence of serum and dermal components” were presented at the First World Congress of Cellular and Molecular Biology held in Paris from September 1 to September 7, 1991. Journal of Investigative Dermatology published the Abstract. 98:841; 1992. Rosdy M and Bose S.K. Where do we stand, according to his peer review in Pigment Cell Research? The article Pigment Cell Res. 1993 Mar;6(2):61-72 was deemed one of the fifty greatest articles of the century. Dr. Bose has contributed chapters to ten books and authored over seventy-five works.
