Biodata
- Since 1995, Dr Pramod Kumar has worked with Apollo Hospitals. He began as an associate consultant, spent two years as a consultant cardiologist at Al Khaleej Apollo Clinic in Dubai, then returned to Apollo Hospital in Chennai as an interventional cardiologist. His primary areas of interest include interventional cardiology, echocardiography, and the therapy of heart failure. Over 7500 interventional cardiac operations and 1500 transoesophageal echocardiography procedures have been performed by him. Along with his rigorous workload as a practicing medical professional, he has spent over 22 years educating postgraduate and DNB students. Dr Pramod completed his medical studies in Kerala and then moved to Los Angeles to train in CT coronary angio operations at UCLA.
