Biography
Dr. Robles is a vascular surgeon in Singapore. He has over a decade of expertise in treating various vascular conditions.
Dr. Rubles first received an MBChB degree from the University of Aberdeen (UK) in 1992 and then underwent general surgery training in 1996 before receiving an FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). He then became a Research Fellow at St Mary’s Hospital (UK). ) South East and Northwest Thames London Dinner Surgical Rotation, Intercollegiate FRCS General Training on General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. Before moving to Australia, he became a Fellow of the European Board of Vascular Surgery (2004), where he spent a year as a Vascular Fellow at St George’s Hospital (Sydney) to specialize in endovascular surgery.
Before private practice, Dr. Robles was a Senior Consultant in the Department of Cardiac Thoracic and Vascular Surgery at National University Hospital (NUH). He was simultaneously appointed Director at the National University Heart Center Singapore, Founding Head of the Vascular Medicine and Therapy Program, Department of Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory and Vascular Surgery. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery, Yong Lu Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS). Dr. Robles is a frequent speaker at regional and international meetings and has published more than 40 publications in the journal Specialist Vascular and Angiology.
