Biography

Dr Lee graduated from NUS and received his Master’s Degree in Orthopedic Surgery from the University of Liverpool. She later joined a fellowship in pediatrics and epilepsy at Children’s Hospital (Australia).

Dr. Lee has been an expert surgeon for more than 20 years practicing orthopedic surgery for children and adult spine diseases. She is a visiting physician at the National University Hospital, KK Women and Children’s Hospital, and the Ministry of Health, Seychelles. He is also a consultant for major hospitals in Singapore and abroad and a spokesman for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, National University of Singapore (NUS). In addition to clinical work, Dr Lee was also appointed President of the ASEAN Orthopedic Association (2010) and the Singapore Orthopedic Association (2009). He created the ASEAN Orthopedic Assistance Program for the training of physicians in ASEAN countries. He also helped with emergency disasters in the region from the 2005 Tsunami earthquake in Indonesia (2005) and the earthquake in Solo Indonesia (2007). Several awards were presented to Dr Lee such as the Norah Walk Prize for M.Ch. Orthopedic Examinations (1989) and the Youth Examiner Award at the Singapore Orthopedic Association’s annual meeting for the years 1990 and 1991.

Dr. Lee’s specialties include adult back pain and pediatric orthopedic surgery.
