Dr Pan Woei Jack is an orthopedic surgeon whose main focus is on spinal surgery. After studying medicine at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, he traveled to Singapore to begin his journey as a doctor. He went through a number of different EXPERIENCE YEARS s during his tenure as a junior doctor including family medicine, geriatrics, general surgery, hand surgery and colorectal surgery.

In 2002, Dr Pan Woei Jack obtained his M.D. from the National University of Singapore and  was awarded a Master of Surgery from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He went on to complete training in Orthopaedics and underwent further training at a wide variety of hospitals, including Changi General Hospital, Singapore General Hospital, National University Hospital and KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital. He obtained his fellowship Qualification after his study, and was subsequently admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dr Pan Woei Jack went on to serve at the KK Women and Children’s Hospital before joining the Changi General Hospital as a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon and spine surgeon. Dr Pan treated several different types of patients at Changi General Hospital including orthopedic, sports injury, hand and upper limb issues, and back problems.

Then, Dr Pan completed further training in minimally-invasive spine surgery at the world renowned Wooridul Spine Hospital, in Seoul, South Korea. This paper delves into the use of spinal injections and keyhole discectomy.

Dr. Pan is a member of the American Orthopaedic Doctors Association, the Asian Osteopathic Association of Spine and Local Anesthesia, and the North American Spine Society. John’s activities stem from his ability to treat each person with dignity and to always do the right thing. Dr Pan believes in doing what he can for his patients by making every attempt to provide them with the best treatment at a fair price. He agrees that patients should be in the decision-making process at all times surrounding their medical care.

Dr Pan lives a happy, romantic and compassionate life with his caring and helping wife and three wonderful teenagers.
