Biography
Dr. Pamela Chan is a consultant psychiatrist at the Clinic for Psychiatric and Behavioral Medicine and the Clinic for Adult and Child Psychotherapy. Prior to her private practice, Dr. Chan worked as a psychiatrist at Charing Cross Hospital in London, UK, where she gained experience in group and individual psychotherapy, psycho-geriatric mental disability, and perinatal and relationship psychiatry. After becoming a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Dr. Chan returned to Singapore and served as a lecturer in the Department of Psychological Medicine at the National University of Singapore (NUS). At the organizational level, she has been a consultant to many corporations and institutions for managing stress, transitions, and lifestyle changes.
Dr. Chan graduated with a B.Sc. In addition to clinical work, Dr. Chan is active in research with several published journals on topics related to depression, eating disorders, and women and mental health. She also serves as an external examiner in behavioral medicine for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (RANZCOG).
